Abstract


Surface antigen VP1 expression in plants for the study of the foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) isolate and clone the \and pBICVP. Patatin promoter and potato proteinase pBIVP containing the repressor gene II ( PIN2) of the 3 ' end untranslated region (UTR) sequences, at the end of the VP1 gene of the fusion of the nucleotide sequence encoding the endoplasmic reticulum retention signal peptides (SEKDEL) ; pBICVP in addition to containing the 3 'end of the the Patatin promoter and Pin2 untranslated region , the 5' end of the VP1 fusion of cholera toxin B subunit gene ( CTB ) , the 3 ' terminal fusions encoding SEKDEL acid sequence . By Agrobacterium mediated these two kinds of different VP1 transferred potato , kanamycin (Km) resistant seedlings . PCR analysis showed that VP1 has been transferred to the potatoes, and the conversion efficiency of 95% .
