Abstract


With the rapid development of higher education in China , the rapid increase of the number of the schools in the school 's growing student information database . Therefore it is very necessary to use data mining tools to extract important information implied in the student information database . Existing database only able to complete the transaction management and information retrieval tasks , these data can not be found within the relationship and potential knowledge , more decision-making basis for future development can not be based on existing data . This paper, data mining method for the design of a new student database system , the system uses data mining algorithms can effectively tap the important information hidden in the student database to provide a valid basis for decision making , effective arrangements for teaching school and college enrollment . The main content of this paper is as follows: in college enrollment and educational administration application data mining technology analysis and processing of existing data and research on the feasibility and necessity of this application . FP-growth algorithm and decision tree classification analysis and association rules knowledge mining existing educational administration and enrollment data . First, the FP-growth algorithm in association rules analysis and mining of students in school grades and entrance scores , and then use the C4.5 decision tree algorithm to create a system model , the model can predict students based on student enrollment results graduation rates , which can be used to guide the teaching work , and to develop practical training programs and training objectives . The VC 6.0 and SQL Sever2000 , software system design and implementation of a new student database system can be divided into system management , student information management , data preprocessing, mining university information , report printing module . The system is mainly complete data preparation , data preprocessing , data mining and model evaluation and analysis .
