Abstract


With the deep development of reform and opening up, the state pays more and more attentions to education, especially strengthens the emphasis on vocational education. Now scale of higher vocational colleges expands gradually, so it is absolutely impossible if there is no modern educational administration, what’s more Teaching and Research Office is the hub of the management unit in Higher Education. In order to speed up automation and information of the teaching affair management and Department of Education to speed up the comprehensive automation as well as improve the efficiency of the management in Teaching and Research Office, it is very necessary and important to establish Teaching and Research Office Management System.Based on Software Engineering theory, starting from the system requirement analysis, the author describe the original requirements, functional requirements and provide an overall design solution to the system, including system hardware/software model, data environment construction, system security and etc, then complete the development o Teaching and Research Office system. The system is developed based on the overall business requirement in teaching and research office; it can realize the function of calculating teachers’workload, daily work management, curriculum information management, research work management as well as students’information and marks management. These management modules involve every aspect of teachers in Sino-India Computer Software Department of the Weifang University of Science and Technology; they can maximally close to teachers’work, strengthen the communication of education and teaching information, as well as ensure the efficiency and accuracy in information flow. The setup and improvement of Department of Management System has laid a solid foundation in improving teachers’ working efficiency, education and teaching levels and the rapid development of university.This paper introduces the background of the development of Teaching and Research Office Management System first, then introduces its development platform and related technologies, and then analyses a detail requirement of Teaching and Research Office, design a detail data flow diagram, ER diagram and etc, finally, it describe the function in the system and its database design, then finish its module design and implementation.
