Abstract


Information age , with the pace of the digital library continues to accelerate , the information needs of readers twinkling , diversified, library bloated traditional services , the introduction of new technology services in the library , it is particularly necessary . RFID technology can provide readers with quick self-service , at the same time improving the efficiency of librarians release more manpower, while providing readers with a safe environment. Many developed countries have already applied this technology to the library 's circulation , collection , and security management. RFID technology has become increasingly valued by domestic library to 2009 added nine domestic university library RFID , RFID in the library community has broad prospects for development. This thesis is structured into six chapters. In this paper the use of theoretical analysis, case studies, comparative analysis method, briefly RFID technology and how it works , learn from the experience of library RFID applications , RFID technology in library work outlined the advantages and applications of RFID in Libraries , analyzes the reasons for its popularity is now unable to library development is the future trend of the last theory with practice, based on the current situation of Nanchang University Library Hall made ??the feasibility of using RFID technology proposals and gives the corresponding strategy: select the hidden good UHF tag as subjects ; RFID magnetic stripe pattern , a small area in the library implementation ; strengthen technical reserves ; strive research project work ; strengthen collaborative research with faculty ; draw domestic and foreign adoption RFID technology, the successful experience of university libraries .
