Abstract


Road traffic system security involves the various factors that make up the system , dynamic environment of space from the driver's knowledge of the law on the road contractors and facility design, safety instructions and regulatory development , etc. have an important role . In this paper, on the driver's spatial perception and visual characterization , based on experiments explored at different speeds when the vehicle , the driver running day and night in the distance cognition of space law ; also studied in the evening dusk environment, with the change of the external illumination driver's space distance determination for law ; through the test vehicle speed , ambient illumination and other factors analysis, was established vehicle speed , ambient light conditions, the driver's space in a different mathematical distance cognition relationship .
