Abstract


With the development of geography , the vector for the expression of geographic information data showing many types , complex operation, large amount of data . These characteristics to geographic information systems software development , data sharing, interoperability has caused great difficulties . How these data reasonable organization and management, is the focus of the study of the geographic information system software . Among these, due to the vector of spatial data from different sources , different data formats are also different , and how to format data stored in the database , accessed through the standardization , to achieve data sharing and interoperability , it is a very urgent problem . Vector spatial database engine through the isolated data services layer and the user client , shielding the complexity and heterogeneity of the back-end database , to solve this problem . In this paper , from the characteristics of the spatial database engine , follow the standard , the analysis of the main research contents of the vector spatial database engine , and the detailed design . The main contents include the following aspects: 1 ) introduces the concept of spatial database engine ; discusses the main content of the research ; study and compare the two mainstream spatial database engine . 2) analysis of the situation and development of spatial data model , describes several typical spatial data model and data model were compared ; design vector spatial data model has a certain versatility ; characteristics of vector data model , spatial database structure design . 3 ) studied a variety of formats of data loading process to solve the problem of a variety of formats data storage key technical points ; build a common access interface for easy data and database interaction ; several spatial index and comparative analysis , design and practice spatial indexing mechanism ; explores the concept of spatial query , the design of a simple spatial query functions are implemented . 4 ) by the program design and experimental design method for authentication .
