Recently, the advanced requirement has been brought forward for life science and human environment with the development of the society, which also offers much more room for them. The developmental room affords an opportunity for analytical chemistry. This required analytical chemistry to update in time not only in the system of konwledge, but also in the methods. Piezoelectric chemo/biosensor is an important field in analytical chemistry. This is a new type of sensor based on using piezoelectric quartz crystal. It has many advantages, such as simple construction, broad sensing spectrum, high sensitivity, real-time and in-situ determination, and low operational cost. Capillary electrophoresis (CE) is an advanced technique in the fields of modern analytical chemistry. It has achieved a rapid development in recent years for its advantages including high resolution, short analysis time, small sample volume, and easy realization for digitization. Therefore, more interest has been focused on piezoelectric chemo/biosensor and CE. Nowadays, these techniques have been widely applied in life science, environmental science, clinical medicine, military field, food chemistry, material sceience, and industry. The main work of this thesis, which was based on the techniques above-mentioned, is summarized as follows: 1. The interaction of DNA and human serum albumin (HSA) in the presence of anticancer drug carboplatin was studied with piezoelectric quartz crystal impedance (PQCI) and electrochemistry techniques. Based on the multi-dimensional information obtained by PQCI technique, such as f0, Rm, C0, the kinetics parameters of the cross-linking process were investigated and a response kinetics model was deduced. Furthermore, cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical A.C. impedance techniques were employed to testify the cross-linking process. 2. Using electrochemical, PQCI and UV techniques, the interaction between DNA and protein in the presence of sanguinarine has been studied. 3. Capillary electrophoresis electrochemiluminescence (CE-ECL) separation system was employed to detect the mefenacet. Parameters including injection time, injection voltage, applied potential and pH were discussed in detail. The linear response range of mefenacet was from 1.07 ×10-8 to 5.0 ×10-7 M with a detection limit of 4.0 ×10-9 M. This technique was also successfully applied to analyze residues of mefenacet in seedling and soil.
