Abstract


Chaos is a very important discovery of the twentieth century. It is applied in many fields such as signal processing, secure communication, physics, chemistry, economics and so on. The sensitivity to the change of initial conditions and the complexity of chaotic dynamics make the research on chaotic control challenging. Nowadays, chaotic control and synchronization become a new researching focus in nonlinear science.This paper deals with discrete-time chaotic system. Based on the recently proposed one-dimensional discrete chaotic system with rational fraction, we proposed a new two-dimensional discrete chaotic system. We studied the dynamical behaviors of the new system and investigated its tracking and synchronization. Here we use linearization in tracking. We adopt parameter adaptive algorithm and backstepping design separately in synchronization. Sufficient conditions for tracking and synchronization are deduced. Finally, numerical simulations are provided for illustration and verification.
