Abstract


With the development of internet, Geographic information systems(GIS)’ s focus has changed from the simple data input, change, edit to the more complex function such as :the distributed data share, decision-making supported by computer and the cooperate information process. In the cooperate information process, it is the key that how to combine GIS and the business process.The workflow technology realizes the model maker of the business process, the analysis of the business process, the optimize of the business process, the manage and integrity of the business process. This technology is the key for the autoimmunization of the business process. If we use this technology to combine the normal business process and spatial data process process, the cooperate information process will be strengthen.This paper analysises and summarizes the relationship between the workflow system and GIS; brings forward the frame of the spatial information workflow based on the current research, and search the key technology of spatial information workflow.The main search has three points:1) The search about the spatial information workflow engine. The spatial information workflow engine is spatial information workflow ’ s core. It’ s used to drive the buiness processes and geo-collaboration. This paper focuses on the system frame, the process model, process language, the process control and monitor.2) The search about transaction. The spatial workflow is builded in the distributed environment, and relates to the spatial data process, so transactions are very important. On basing the Sagamodel、 the distributed model and long time transactionmodel, this paper brings out the XSaga model in order to fit the spatial workflow.3) The search about spatial atom activity. Spatial atom activity is the minimum spatial process. This paper discusses it’s definition and character, analyzes how to classify, and realizes some spatial atom activity based on WFS service.At last, this paper gives the prototype of spatial information workflow, and makes the experimentation to validate the technology and frame.
