With the rapid development of computer technology and its applications , the level of computer-aided design (CAD) has become a new standard for today's measure of engineering, product design , how the hydraulic design flourish into this state-of-the-art engineering productivity , maximize computer powerful analog design capabilities , thereby reducing repetitive tasks , the use of CAD technology is key to the hydropower industry . Application of CAD technology in the sluice design using Visual C platform , the C language and object-oriented programming techniques , the module developed primarily to obtain the results of the following aspects : 1 , according to the design specifications of concrete gravity dam (DL5108-1999) and the sluices design specification \separate class of data input and data analysis , and is conducive to the maintenance and expansion of the system ; developed according to the the sluices design specification \the room stable CAD module , use a combination of building blocks can be combined into the lock chamber segment unit structure type , in order to adapt to the different type of lock chamber stability calculation ; 3 , design -friendly interactive interface , friendly man-machine the interface is the basic requirements of the modern application software systems , using the properties box for multi- target object pier stratified ; completion of the building block bitmap button of the Gate Chamber choice , combo box inclusive of all various load combinations need to verify the situation , and finally with the graphic form more clearly show the calculated results , which greatly simplifies the design of the interface , while the design results are very clear .
