Abstract


Concrete faced rockfill dam is one of the main dam , the dam body composition from the rubble or gravel , play supporting role in its upstream face setting concrete panel from the seepage effect. CFRD has low requirement on the basis of , diversion simple , low cost , simple construction, fast and so is the current water conservancy and hydropower project to promote one of the three new dam . This combined with our practical engineering problems encountered in ponds CFRD as the background, to simulate the actual situation , rockfill material constitutive model used is Duncan EB model, using finite element analysis software ANSYS, three-dimensional nonlinear finite element calculations. Analysis of the stress faced rockfill dam ponds deformation , get some useful conclusions. This major work done and the main conclusions are as follows : 1. Analog ponds CFRD practical engineering , three-dimensional nonlinear finite element calculations , comparative study of the construction period , and check flood filling of three programs the calculation results obtained under different conditions on dam construction and operation of the degree of influence , but also on the panel vertical joints and peripheral joints deformation were studied . The results show that the stress and deformation of the dam to meet safety requirements. And make some recommendations to the engineering design and construction personnel to provide a reference . (2) Then, based on the prototype of CFRD ponds create two simplified model, the part of the panel and the rubble is not provided between the contact element and setting calculation results of the program , and to explore more satisfactory calculation of concrete face rockfill dam stress and displacement finite element model . The results show that the panel is set 3D contact element can be more reasonable concrete slabs stress results .
