Abstract


The paper provides a historical and realistic study to the reporting about Children’s Day in Renmin Daily from 1950 to 1999, analyzing the problems of the reporting about Children’s Day and the children’s figures made by the newspaper of Chinese Communist Party, pointing out that there are some shortages in the methods for the reporting about Children’s Day by the newspaper of Chinese Communist Party. The paper analyses the political, systematical and social causes of the above problems, and provides solutions to the problems in the newspaper of Chinese Communist Party on how to report Children’s Day and make children’s figures, how to use media to serve the children, the nation and the race, how to deal with the relationship of the children’s figures between in media and in reality. All the above will be used for reference to the futuristic reporting about Children’s Day and making children’s figures by media, especially by the newspaper of Chinese Communist Party.
