Abstract

[ Part 1 ] mobile phone electromagnetic radiation on male reproductive function purpose : To investigate the electromagnetic radiation of mobile phones on the male reproductive system functions . The Methods: sources , analog mobile phone male mice whole body radiation , the radiation frequency of 935MHz for 2 h / d , continuous 35D divided into three groups , according to the average power density , ie 0μW/cm group ( control group ) , 570μW/cm to radiation group and from 1400μW/cm to radiation group . Radiation take the testes and epididymis weighing, automatic biochemical analyzer detected testicular tissue lactate dehydrogenase isoenzyme ( lactic dehydrogenase - x isozyme LDH - X ) activity , routine analysis of epididymal sperm count , activity rate and malformation rate , and the observed testicular tissue structure and ultrastructure . Results : ( P ) the activity of LDH - X : 1400μW/cm to the LDH - X activity in the radiation group ( 338.143 ± 73.348 ) U / g was significantly lower than 570μW/cm ~ 2 radiation group [ ( 401.780 ± 50.919 ) U / g ] and the control group [(408.449 ± 71.325) U / gl, the difference was significant ( P lt ; 0.05 ) ; of 570μW/cm to radiation group and the control group , the difference was not significant ( P GT ; 0.05 ) (2) sperm routine analysis : 1400μW/cm sperm activity rate of the radiation group (40.818 ± 4.729)%, with the control group [(47.667 ± 6.964)%] , the difference was significant ( P lt ; 0.05 ) ; 570μW/cm motility of the radiation group ( 44.800 ± 6.102 ) % ] compared with the control group , the difference was not significant ( P gt ; 0.05 ) Sperm count and sperm deformity rate among the groups were not significantly different ( P gt ; 0.05 ) (3) organizational structure and ultrastructure : ( 1 ) no abnormal testicular tissue structure of the radiation group . Mitochondrial ultrastructural changes of the sperm tail , ② 1400μW/cm radiation form sizes , uneven distribution ; Part swelling the electron density decreases ; decrease in plate-like crest , focal cavitation . 570μW/cm ~ 2 radiation ultrastructure did not change significantly . Conclusion : In this experimental condition , of 1400μW/cm to mobile phone electromagnetic radiation can cause LDH - X activity decreased , decreased sperm motility and tail of the sperm mitochondrial ultrastructural changes , prompted a certain intensity of mobile phone electromagnetic radiation may affect male reproductive function , the mechanism may be by acting on mitochondria, obstruct the energy metabolism of spermatogenic cells ( sperm ) and reproductive toxicity .
