Abstract


"Science and technique are primary productive forces". As the decisive factor of the economic development, the progress in science and technology is very important to the realization of the economic growth and the strategic objective. The progress in modern S&T (science and technology) is a complete progress of continuous creation, which is made up of multiple aspects and multiple links. To realize "invigorating nation applying S&T", it’s needed to make further researches on the management system law of the progresses in S&T of great projects, so as to indicate the direction for the management of the progresses in S&T of great projects.Great projects are all related to the national economy and the people’s livelihood, so the management of them is very important, but so far, haven’t got the systematic theories and methods. Therefore, the management of S&T in great projects is doubtlessly one of the advanced subjects of Management Science and Engineering Subject, and we should make explorations and researches on both the theory and the management methods.This paper introduces the connotation of great projects, the progresses in S&T and the management of the progresses in S&T of great projects, analyzes their features, reveals their inside logic relations, demonstrates the necessity for improving the management of the progresses in S&T of great projects, and builds the purpose and principle of the management of the progresses in S&T of great projects. It researches the new structure and operational mechanism of the management of the progresses in S&T of great projects, which is suitable to the era of knowledge economy and the need of development of socialist market economy, and establishes the index system on evaluation of the management of the progresses in S&T of great projects. According to the present situation and problems of the management of the progresses in S&T of great projects, at last, the paper puts forward some advice.
