Abstract


Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have become an important tool of research and management of geographic information and thematic data is an important part of geographic data . Thematic data integration as one of the main ways of GIS data processing conditions to meet the multi-scale or multi-resolution description and management of geographic information . Integrated with the terrain data , data integration based on certain rules to protect data integration around the application requirements , reflecting the major geographical features . The thematic data includes not only describe the state space of the space data , but also reflect the geographical phenomena of a data characteristics , quality characteristics , natural attributes , social attributes and attribute data , and thus the establishment of thematic data system of rules not only to consider the map terrain data consolidation in the use of graphical knowledge , but also taking into account the specific areas of expertise , knowledge and application-specific topics , to be able to reflect the geographical phenomena characteristics, distribution law and its relationship with the surrounding geographical environment . In addition, a comprehensive study of the key issues of the application of rules of the thematic data thematic data , the main performance combination of comprehensive rules and procedures , as well as the impact on the consolidated results of the degree of .
