This paper first introduces the concept of geographic information metadata, metadata role and significance, the metadata standard, etc. Based on this dynamic metadata concept. And with China's national geographic information metadata standards as the foundation, and combining with China's yuan data use present situation, design a geographic information dynamic metadata management system, the system mainly realizes the dynamic metadata editing, dynamic metadata management and dynamic yuan data query function.
