Abstract


The development of the IT industry has brought unprecedented impact to GIS development and design, especially the impact of the Internet on the GIS industry is the most huge. Requires cooperation not just between the various GIS applications of GIS and other information systems also need cooperation to reach a win-win situation. Taking into account the current situation of the domestic industry, and there are a lot of \In essence, lies in the GIS interoperability problems. Currently, foreign universal spatial information infrastructure to solve this problem has been initially achieved some success. The domestic basic construction has achieved initial results, but the overall size is not yet formed, supporting the application is not yet, and did not really play out the potential of the basic spatial data. So the paper with reference to the results and experiences abroad, the introduction of advanced techniques and methods, to further extend the existing WebGIS, this new idea of ??a service-oriented spatial information portal for domestic SDI applications provide a constructive reference . Paper introduced service-oriented architecture (SOA) method of this new system architecture, the combination of services and GIS, that any application and resources can be seen as a service, that is, the idea of ??\The paper also introduces the idea of ??service metadata to use the OGC metadata standards to describe the spatial information services, in order to discover and use. To promote a variety of services to work together, we need the help of the Publish-Find-Bind mechanism: the first service provider to service metadata published to the online registration center, its cataloging process, and then the service consumers can search the registry Find related service and call. Service-oriented ideas can be a good solution to the problem of spatial information and spatial processing functions shared, but also a new idea to solve GIS interoperability problems. Based on this idea, the paper analyzes the main problems of GIS interoperability, metadata describes the two types of spatial data and spatial services industry generally based metadata interoperability is extended, detailed description of the directory service works. Can easily use spatial information services to the outside world, the paper introduces spatial information portal technology, it is equivalent to providing a network of virtual desktop interface to provide users with access to a variety of spatial information resources.
