Abstract

The charge-coupled device (CCD) is a semiconductor imaging device . Such a device by means of the necessary optical system and a suitable driver circuit , the image of the scene can be transferred in the form of optical signals , storage , transmission and processing . In the past two decades , CCD technology has been widely used in military and civilian various fields , especially with the improvement in the level of industrial automation and industrial needs of the scene in the detection and monitoring of applications is becoming increasingly popular . In this paper, linear array CCD - TCD1206 the small size of the gap and diameter of the high-precision measurement . System analysis , linear CCD measuring device to determine the composition and optical subsystems linear CCD signal output processing subsystem solutions . Application based on the measurement gap and diameter of the single-chip hardware counting and treated based on the method of data acquisition software for calibration and measurement . Data collection to fit in hardware counting method of linear CCD output signal binarization processing method to determine the measurement edge , and in the application of the polynomial least squares method and RBF neural network based on the method of data acquisition software to determine the measurement boundary . Several groups of the gap and the diameter of the calibration and measurement experimental results show that the two measurement schemes are practical , as opposed to the traditional measurement method has the advantages of high precision, non-contact measurement . CCD as the industrial inspection monitoring sensor has a very broad application prospects .
