Enterprise Resource Planning(Enterprise Resource Planning-ERP) is the all-round and systematic information management platform of the planning, decision-making, control and performance assessment, which takes advantage of the advanced mind on the production management. In the fluky market competition, a lot of manufactures are in the face of new challenge. With the continuous development of information technology, manufactures feel fully that applying ERP has been become the elementary requirements of every enterprise.As the core of the manufacturer, the production plan manages the production of the whole enterprise and plays a vital role to the enterprise management and influences the development and progress of the whole enterprise.The thesis start analyzing from ERP theory, and tries to explore one ERP solution tailored to the production management of the communication equipment manufacturer. Further more, giving some experience and advices to the same enterprises to apply ERP. Firstly, the background of this research is introduced, and the emphases is the reason to apply ERP in FH manufacturer. Secondly, the review of literature is made up of five sides, which are the modern mind and the development of the production management, the definition and the development of ERP, the mind and the characteristic of ERP, the relation with enterprise, the ERP product in the world. Subsequently, from the frame of P.P, the paper focuses on the research on the application solution and implementation, during the ERP realization process, based on the ERP theory combined with the production type and the characteristic of FH manufacturer. At the same time, after the research, we can fully handle the optimized model of each module in the pattern of ERP production plan, and digest each module. Finally, it is about the conclusions and prospects of this study.
