Abstract


The automobile financial service originates from the installment plan which automaker offered to users in the automobile sale around the twenties of the 20th century at first. Most early organization of automobile financial service is GMAC set up by American General Motors Company in 1919,GMAC accept or discount account and note receivable from dealer of General Motors specially. The result is that the sale of automobile increases unprecedentedly because the special organization of automobile financial service separates the capital of the link between automobile making and selling. After this, some big automakers began to set up the financial institution to finance for the dealers and the customers. The bank began to enter the field of the automobile financial service too; the system of the automobile financial service comes into being progressively.The automobile financial service is the financial service of relying on and promoting development of automobile industry. The development of the automobile financial service has a history of nearly one hundred years since it’s beginning and its development level has been already quite perfect. The organization of automobile financial service includes financial institution such as commercial bank, credit alliance and trust company and non-financial institution such as the automobile financial company; the mode of the automobile financial service includes installment payment pay, financing lease, refinancing and trusting lease so on. In our times, the value chain of the whole automobile industry has already changed fundamentally and the financial service has already become one of the most valuable links: The competition of the future automobile market will be no longer a competition of the simple style, but it is the competition around the financial service. The result of the competition determines the pattern of the future automobile market.This article attempts to discuss the development model of the automobile financial service in our country, and probe into reference function to our newly automobile financial service from developing experience of the foreign automobile finance service.There are six chapters in this article. Chapter one is an introduction. We explain mainly why we shall develop automobile financial service in our country in the part, that is to say what important meanings development automobile financial service has. Chapter two is a summary about automobile financial service. We state about the relevant concepts of the automobile financial service, explain the origin formation that the automobile financial service produces and develops and its cause of function and development trend. We analysis the development model of the domestic and international automobile financial service in chapter three, including the organization and development model of automobile financial service, the advantage and inferior position of the domestic and international automobile financial service and the
