Abstract


This paper mainly discusses the characteristic of the Spring and Autumn Period bronze inscription from the component angle. The status and the function of the Spring and Autumn Period bronze inscription in the Chinese writing history are hoped to be definited.My research takes "Bronze inscription Database" as the platform.,in which 1,250 ngraved inscriptions are seledted to conduct the system research. First makes the exhausting statistical analysis to the Spring and Autumn Period bronze inscription glyph. Give a description to various aspects characteristic of the writing system, and the description is believed to provide the possibility to the component system research.In author’s statistics , foundation components 476 are obtained. According to the character ability differently, we divides into the component five kinds. and mark it whether independent construction character. Compareit with earlier and later period writing system in similar characteristic.We conclude three reasons which the variant characters form: The component position is different, the component fluctuation, the component variation. The different countrys and regions has the influence unavoidably to the writing system. This article takes five main national Cai, Chu, Wu, Qin, Jin , analyzes its special glyph. Whether it is the sole possession of the nature, whether it takes this country’s the glyph symbol or the writing characteristic.In the Spring and Autumn Period bronze inscription writing system, there are some components which could be exchange in the construction word-time. Some components exchange is a result of synonymy component. Between some components uses in exchange is a result of the shape nearly . we definite the rational transformation situation as the components in exchange. However, the near shape is the component confusion , they should belong to mixes uses. About the components in exchange, we divide into two kinds. One is the significance close similar, the other is constructs the character principle different component to be general.
