This paper studied the formal definition of data manipulation in Many Sorted Logic, Entity-Relationship Model, and the mathematical definition of Coloured Petri Nets, established a concurrent and workflow oriented functional computing model, named EPNet, and implement the preliminary formal definition of EPNet structural characteristics and executive semantic. This paper designed and implemented Java-based distributed EPNet execution environment, named Tetra-Net, to concrete implement the execution semantics of the EPNet. This paper discussed the technical feasibility of serialized command transfer mode, computing status persistence methods and computing tasks remote loading and executing behavior in Internet computing environment. This paper also presents an EPNet model decomposition method and assignment algorithm, automatically assign the computing tasks into different remote computing nodes to improve the EPNetexecuting efficiencyat runtime. A load balancing mechanism is also designed to make full use of remote computing node capacities. In part III, some experimentsdemonstrate the executing efficiency improvement byusing the assignment algorithm and load balancing mechanism.Combination of basic control flow patterns of EPNet can describe concurrent, asynchronous, distributed, paralleland other complex system logicintuitively.Distributed RDBMS based persistence implementation enable Tetra-Net can storage large homogeneous data.In part IV, this paper use EPNet to analyse Discrete-Time Markov Chain and asynchronous serial productionsystemto validate EPNet modeling ability and executing environment correctness.
