Abstract


In this study, from the perspective of sociology, social psychology , modern personality development of the college students do more in-depth explore . Through a survey of 418 college students in Beijing, Guangdong , Heilongjiang , Shaanxi , Shanghai , Hubei provinces College , on the basis of the defined the basic components of the modern personality of the Chinese people with the connotation of study of college students overall modern personality state of development , the influencing factors and five psychological traits development , influencing factors , and the attempt of some theoretical explanation . The main content of the paper include the following four parts : The first part of the account of the background of the research problem , reviews the research status ; clarify the purpose of this study , the significance and basic ideas ; define and operationalize the concept and content of the modern personality , and describes the main research methods used . The second part is based on the survey data , conducted univariate descriptive statistical analysis and inferences overall hypothesis testing reveals Students' Modern Personality development status , the development status of the five psychological traits , from the historical perspective and the use of the comparative empirical survey data to investigate the cause of the reasons for the higher level of the development of modern personality of college students , the use of cultural and ecological interaction theory of the cause of five psychological traits form a differential pattern of reasons , specifically examines the level of development of autonomy psychological characteristics of the relatively low level of development of a monk legality psychological traits are relatively high may be the reason . The third part through bivariate statistical analysis and partial correlation statistical analysis examines the social factors that have an important impact on the development of the modern personality of college students , to verify education , mass media independent , effective , and natural attributes , family background factor has little effect on the development of the modern personality of college students . And , from a sociological point of view on the basis of comparative analysis with the results of previous studies to explain the underlying causes . The fourth section provides an overview of the basic conclusions of this study , trying to discuss in depth the reality personality type of college students - the meaning and significance of the marginal personality , as well as with the development of the relationship between the modern personality , at the same time the importance of college students to improve the modern personality put forward some thoughts .
