Abstract


In this study, from a sociological point of view of competition in view of the current students to do a more in-depth discussion. Six cities across the country through 94 colleges and universities 418 students questionnaires and in-depth interviews with some of the cases investigated current college students the basic concept of competition, and to analyze the basic characteristics of the individual, family environment factors and the social environment factors on competition concept of influence and try to put forward a number of theoretical explanations. The main contents include the following five parts: The first part of the study explained the background to the problem, review of relevant research situation, clarify the purpose of this study, the significance and basic ideas, analysis of the basic framework of the relevant concepts are defined and operationalized and describes the main methods used. The second part of the questionnaire-based survey data, describe the basic concept of college competition situation. Mainly focused on the perception and evaluation of the general competition; competing goals and objectives for the understanding and evaluation; competition means and opponents on cognition and evaluation; environmental awareness on competition and evaluation; competition for specific situations behavior and other aspects of cognition and Description of evaluation. Based on this, summed up the current view of the characteristics of college competition, noting that students in the competition on the concept of the existence of the following main characteristics: the sense of cooperation is not strong; utilitarian concept too strong; competition purposes impure, improper means; contract awareness enhanced, but still can not consciously abide by the rules of competition and so on. The third part analyzes the basic characteristics of the individual, family environment, social environment and other factors on the impact of college competition concept. Key reveals the concept and college students about the impact of competitive factors, trying to figure out what are the main factors affecting the students' competition concept. And compared with the results of previous studies based on the analysis, from a sociological point of view which illustrates the underlying causes. Part IV summarizing the basic conclusions of this study. Pointed out that China's current view of the students in the competition exists mainly seeks profit; difference; value orientation ahead of time; distribution pattern on a diversified, multi-level and multi-structural characteristics. Also pointed out that students view their innate competitive basic characteristics are not necessarily linked, their family background did not necessarily linked, college competition concept acquired mainly affected the environment and education. Accordingly, the concept of perfect competition on the students the analytical framework, and to further discuss the results of the study concept of college competition advantages and disadvantages, and university students compete to build the ethical concept put forward some suggestions and thinking.
