Abstract


Virtualization is an abstract concept, refers to the computing element on the basis of virtual rather than on the basis of real operation, it will separate physical hardware and operating system, so as to provide higher resource utilization efficiency and flexibility. Virtualization technology has nearly sixty years of history, today it is server virtualization, storage virtualization, network virtualization and application virtualization technology combination. Virtualization technology can improve the working efficiency of the computer, and to reduce the cost and energy consumption, simplify system management, improve the reliability, availability and security. Is to create green IT, establish the effective tool of energy-saving society. This paper first introduces the Banks and other financial institutions in the information technology development present situation, analyzing the financial institutions in the information technology development problems. Then aiming at these problems, the author puts forward a virtualization technology is applied to financial institutions. Through the analysis of financial institutions all kinds of application to the characteristics and requirements of the scene, in the face of the application of different size and application characteristics, using pertinently virtualization solution. Finally, analysis of financial institutions themselves IT base frame of cloud computing deployment, imagine that the feasibility of using the advantages of cloud computing, the deployment of private cloud solve financial institutions application some simple rely on virtualization technology cannot solve the problem.
