With the advent of the new century , the increasingly rapid development of information networks . In a variety of areas , wireless communication technology has become an increasingly important means of communication . The packet radio network is a new wireless communication network, packet switching is used between network nodes , share the radio channel of the digital communications network . Packet radio network to access the Internet , you can make use of the advantages of the Internet , and a great deal of resolve some of the limitations of the fixed- node communication . With the development of communication needs , the Mobile IP technology came into being . Mobile IP mobile node to roam freely provide viable options when node changing its access point in the network , it does not need to modify its own IP address , can communicate properly , will not affect the high-level application . In this paper, a packet radio network and mobile IP applications , to commence analysis and exposition . The first discusses the system function and structure of a packet radio network , including packet radio network connection , component units and functions . Then analyzed the characteristics and requirements of mobile IP proposed several solutions , virtual network device interface solutions for packet radio network particularity . The program is mainly to generate a point-to-point virtual network equipment for a mobile IP , and configure related routes spread to the device interface routing protocol routing packet radio network . And then discussed in detail in the Linux system in the design and implementation of the program , as well as in a packet radio network mobile IP applications process and means of communication . Finally, the practical application of the test , and analysis of the test results .
