Mobile Ad Hoc Networks is a kind of self-organization , no center , no need to base station supports multi-hop wireless networks . The network can work the node topology varies greatly case , and is becoming more widely used in various fields . Ad Hoc network each node can act as hosts and routers , and routing technology is one of the key technologies in the network . The paper first reviews the current proposed based mobile Ad Hoc network routing protocols , and in-depth study of multi- path routing protocol . Due to multi-path protocol choose the path of each node may be too concentrated in a few optimal path , the load is too focused on these paths , and thus not conducive to the transmission of data , so the delay will increase and node packet delivery ratio reduced. Therefore, this paper the AOMDV algorithm based on the ant colony algorithm proposed multi - path routing algorithm ( IACB - AOMDV ) based on improved ant colony algorithm . The improved algorithm introduces the concept of node connection density factor , and the use of heuristic search path characteristics of the ant colony algorithm , which can improve the the algorithm adaptive routing capacity . In IACB-AOMDV algorithm , when a node density , self-adaptive changing the pheromone concentration on the node to its neighbor nodes connected path pheromone distribution to different neighbor path , this will help load balancing on each path , find the node reliability based on a number of different paths , the timely commissioning of the alternate path , off the main path to reduce re- route discovery overhead . On NS2 simulation of the algorithm , several performance indicators compare AOMDV algorithm and IACB-AOMDV algorithm average end-to-end delay , packet delivery ratio and packet overhead . The results show that the AOMDV algorithm , in the case of larger network load , lower IACB - AOMDV algorithms , transmission delay, packet loss rate , packet overhead and improve network performance .
