Abstract


Third generation mobile communication system with high security , improve billing management capabilities, can provide wide area coverage and global roaming, but the very high cost of deployment . As a technology has broad application prospects , wireless local area network ( WLAN ) are more and more people's attention. WLAN can be provided at a lower cost is much higher than the data rate of 3G , WLAN security mechanism is fragile . 3G networks and WLAN integration of complementary advantages , the integration of the two broad prospects . However , 3G and WLAN integration also exist a number of safety issues , especially , the data transmission between the terminal and the packet data gateway (PDG) through many intermediate network node , while some of these nodes can not be trusted , and therefore , it is necessary to establish a secure data tunnel between them . This paper presents a heterogeneous converged network environment to tunnel the data protocol IKEv2 based on EAP - AKA . The agreement is different from the pre-shared key authentication method or digital signature authentication method the original IKEv2 protocol , while the use of EAP-AKA authentication method based on the USIM card . The agreement to provide than the pre-shared key authentication method greater security . And digital signature authentication , the agreement because there is no need to deploy a PKI system can be modified to a minimum 3GPP protocol stack on the basis of reliable security, thereby protecting the operator's investment .
