Business requirements and technological advancements in the dual role of the third generation mobile communication network technology , has become a major mobile operators evolve the main development direction . January 2009 , the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of WCDMA third generation mobile communication (3G) licenses issued to China Unicom , China Unicom has since officially began WCDMA network construction and business development. WCDMA network planning and construction early , you can not step in the depth and breadth of network coverage , so it's necessary to use the advantages of the existing 2G networks to compensate for the lack of 3G network construction early . Therefore, good planning and design Jinzhong Unicom 2G/3G interoperability functions , deal with 2G network and 3G network relationship , periodically achieve two networks coexist , complement each other, indispensable network status , as well as improve the WCDMA network functions from to a pivotal role, and shorten the construction period , saving the cost of investment , the effective use of existing resources to meet the market demand has played good results. With the WCDMA network operation and construction of continuous development , WCDMA network will gradually improve , and the gradual replacement of 2G networks. We operate according to the network conditions , timely adjustment of the network , the real advantages of WCDMA system into full play and reflected. Following this, more and more ordinary people will use on a green , low-cost high-quality , content-rich third- generation mobile communications handsets.
