Abstract

The deformation of the metal plastic forming process is a very complex elastic-plastic deformation process. Engineering plastic theory has formed a complete theoretical system and a variety of problem-solving approach, but there is still a huge gap between basic theory and engineering technology. On finite element method is a numerical solution, compared with the analytical solution, the numerical solution of the lack of obvious physical meaning, it is difficult to show the regularity of the correspondence between the object of study within the parameters and their interaction; separate ceiling element method can only get the upper bound solution can not be the real solution, which makes the application of the ceiling element method was extremely restricted. The model element method is a new analytical method developed on the basis of these theories. Model element method for complex object of study is divided into units, apply the appropriate theoretical model to describe the corresponding unit. Model element method divided unit is the first course of the study in the time domain is divided into a number of characteristics hours, and then with some specific physical surface of each time period in the spatial domain will study the object is divided into several units. Solving the model unit of each characteristic time basis and to be integrated, comprehensive solution of organic connection of each period and then up to a solution of the whole problem. Slip line theory has a geometric intuitive, and determine the plastic zone and stiffness characteristics of the area, we establish a forging the cavity corner of full model unit based on the theory of the slip line. This model unit is one of the elements in the model element cell library, fill a similar situation for bulk forming the corners of problem-solving, has important theoretical and practical significance. In this paper the basic concepts and main features of the slip line slip line drawing method and the boundary conditions of the cavity made contact friction conditions and different cavity inclinations slip line field. In determining the slip line field corresponding to determine the geometry of the plastic zone, expression of the stress field and the the deformation force distribution on the bottom of the cavity. Origin numerical processing software using quantitative description of the model unit, a range of specific formula. Finally, the paper DEFORM 3D software to simulate a simple corner of the full process, the theoretical solution is in good agreement with simulation solution. This model unit is the enrichment and development of the model element method is characterized cell library expansion, the whole process is the analysis of the slip line theory expansion. In full of the corner portion of the bulk metal forming unit of analysis, the division of the law of the plastic zone, the stress distribution law of universal value.
