Abstract


Pulse compression technique is implemented in modern high-resolution radar signal matching processing is an important signal processing technology to reduce the compression caused by the sidelobe ensure the dynamic range is not or less affected by the signal of the side lobes of the radar resolution the important issue. When the radar is commonly used linear FM signal after pulse compression , pulse compression will bring a higher range sidelobes , it will affect or obscure the weak echoes goal , this paper focuses on the suppression of several linear FM signal after pulse compression, thereby resulting from the method of sidelobes . First, after the pulse compression signal mismatch processing window function to achieve the effect of the side lobe suppression , compared the performance of several window functions , and analyzed with the simulation . In the window function based on the basic , also studied the method of weighting way to understand its sidelobe suppression. Followed by the spectral correction technology research , has been relatively good simulation results and therefore it would be more for dealing with actual data will be useful . Secondly, studied the use of adaptive signal processing method sidelobe suppression by the minimum mean square error algorithm and recursive least square error algorithm analysis, the method of pulse compression signal processing , through simulation, can achieve a good effect. Also studied a recursive least mean square error algorithm, recursive processing of the received signal , but also to achieve a better effect of the side lobe suppression . Adaptive method proved sidelobe suppression pulse compression effectiveness .
