Abstract


The rapid development of information NGN ( Next Generation Network - next-generation networks for short) footsteps approaching . Based on the NGN platform for a variety of telecommunications equipment have entered the commercial stage of actual combat . Media Gateway (Media Gateway) is one of the core equipment in the NGN system , its quality , performance advantages and disadvantages related to the quality of telecommunications services . Therefore, how to design a comprehensive and effective testing program to ensure the quality of the media gateway has become the focus of attention of telecommunication equipment manufacturers and research institutions . Thesis research work on this topic , and proposed a more comprehensive testing program through practice , to protect the quality of the media gateway and start requirements . The paper first analyzes the NGN architecture , media gateways in NGN position and role , and then studied the content of the media gateway control protocol . Also used in the process of design test program software testing methods and theory , the paper elaborated . The paper then existing media gateway device architecture and function of each part of the business module , and the design and implementation of the testing program was carried out according to the above work . Papers maintenance of several major aspects of the design of the test program from the call access , signaling link , performance , reliability , management proposed test work priorities and implementation process , which focuses on the narrowband business test . The realization of the process of the test program , there is also recorded in the valuable test results , such as the media gateway performance data of each service module start time data and the like . These data provide a reliable basis for R \u0026 D personnel and start debugging and testing engineers . The thesis of media gateway test program has been tested in practical work , the author and colleagues in this set of proposals as a guide successfully tested Thai AIS Bureau , Guangdong C4 level tandem office , Gansu Wuwei end office and the Bureau of Hunan end . Game point above are commercial media gateway service quality , stable performance , thus validating the comprehensiveness of the test program and feasibility .
