Since 1975 Danish scholar Ruzicka and Hansen laid a flow injection analysis ( FIA) , the theoretical and experimental foundation , this new solution processing technology has been developing rapidly . It makes the basic operation of the solution of many of the traditional approach to be online , rapid and very beneficial to trace , confined , auto- complete , on -site analysis of pollutants . Various water quality indicators , nitrates and nitrites are toxicological indicators , the important parameters of water quality monitoring . Therefore , first introduced the current situation of nitrate and nitrite pollution and its hazards , and reviews the recent years , the work done by other researchers in the determination of nitrate and nitrite . Flow injection spectrophotometry automatic analysis process of the simultaneous determination of nitrate and nitrite is discussed , including the whole principle of the method , the optimal choice of parameters and the final results and applications ; same time , on this basis , introduces the preliminary design of the nitrate and nitrite automatic online monitoring instruments . Finally, a brief description of the conclusion of this article and inadequate research .
