With the western development and the needs of the South , Southwest China will build a number of high dam, some of which are located in earthquake zones , and the foundation overburden depth of one hundred meters . Built on deep overburden on the role of high earth can withstand earthquakes , as well as the dynamic response under earthquake seismic stability and how , has become an urgent problem to be solved . This paper analyzes the characteristics and power dam damage calculation method based on the combination of the Dadu River proposed Huangjinping asphalt concrete core rockfill dam a 3D finite element dynamic analysis . Main work is as follows : 1. Analyzes and describes the characteristics of dam damage at home and abroad the construction of high earth earthquake zone status , review dam 's dynamic analysis method development and status . 2 introduces the basic hydraulic asphalt concrete material properties and static and dynamic constitutive model of relevant developments . 3 three-dimensional nonlinear finite element method , combined Huangjinping project example, built on deep overburden layer of asphalt concrete core dam for power calculation, analysis rockfill , asphalt concrete core wall , cut-off wall and other parts of the earthquake dynamic response of the process , a permanent deformation of the dam . 4 by the finite element method analysis of slope stability against sliding under the earthquake , and with the quasi-static method, results are compared to determine the slope of the earthquake process security and stability.
