Abstract

Phenol is very important in the current industrial fine chemical intermediates . The commercial production of phenol , cumene traditional method , the reaction process is complex , serious pollution , and is accompanied by a large number of byproducts acetone . Therefore , how to be able to find a cleaner, more simple , more environmentally -friendly new technology to replace the traditional production methods people are faced with a new challenge . Here, we both from the reaction of cheap raw materials , the reaction operation is simple, mild reaction conditions and other aspects of the design of the experimental apparatus under atmospheric pressure of hydrogen , oxygen and the reaction of benzene the direct liquid hydroxylation to phenol , and to enhance the reaction rate and phenol selection , the design of the catalyst , the catalytic reaction system , etc. made ??a number of related tasks: (1) designing a sealed under atmospheric pressure of hydrogen , oxygen and the reaction of benzene directly system phenol reaction apparatus , the apparatus so that the hydrogen and oxygen be able to use in the inner loop , so that both avoid the high pressure under the same reaction energy consumption and the risk of potentially explosive hydrogen under atmospheric pressure in some reports , and can significantly reduce the oxygen in the benzene phase bubbled reaction was then emptied by volatilization loss caused by the loss of the gas and benzene . ( 2) using the impregnation , calcination , reduction to prepare a series of Pd / Hβ Pd / γ - Al 2 O 3 catalyst and found that they are able to benzene and hydrogen hydroxylation reaction of the oxygen , but its activity is very low. We also found that glacial acetic acid / water as the reaction medium , the rate of formation of the phenol with the load increase in the amount of palladium increased , but the opposite result is obtained in a phosphoric acid / water system . Low catalytic activity and Pd is not capable of catalyzing the generation of hydrogen peroxide should be , but also can catalyze its decomposition , as well as a weak ability to hydroxylation of benzene . Acetic acid / water medium stable in situ generated hydrogen peroxide , prompting it to reaction with benzene to produce phenol . ( 3 ) In order to improve the activity of the catalyst were prepared by impregnation of Pd-V/Hβ and Pd-V/γ-Al 2 O 3 < / sub > Series catalyst . Found % palladium supported catalyst of the catalytic activity of such catalysts improved , and the increase of its activity with the load V / Pd atomic ratio rises , and in the V / Pd of 4 (Pd-V/Hβ) and 2 (Pd -V/γ-Al 2 O 3 ) when you reach them
