Abstract


With the sustained improvement of the social living standard and the improvement of living environment in China today, people’ s view of life had been upgraded from making a living to the pursuing of physically and emotional development and the enjoyment of life. Chinese are paying more and more attention to their health. In the spring tide of international cultural recreation, the sport activity has already become a fashion in modern civilization life, and become an important content of people’ s recreation day by day. Healthy and progressive leisure activity is not only favorable to physically and mentally health, but also favorable to people’s mental attitude, the improvement of overall quality, and the promotion to the quality of life.With the methods of documentary study, investigation, interview and statistics, this paper take the 35-55 years old professional women in the city of Changsha as the researched group. It also dissects the behavior of their leisure sports and analyzes from sociological and psychological view the influential factors of their participating in leisure sports and the existing problems and reasons.The investigation indicates that the state and the problem of 35-55 years old professional women’ s leisure sport activity at present are as follows: (1)The frequency of participating in leisure sports is not high, lacking a consistency and stability;(2) The chosen of the sites favors simple , easy or nearby public space, which acquires only a little investment or free of charge;(3)Choose the leisure sports with low requirement of space and techniques (4) Choose to participate in the leisure sport together with family or friend more often, yet the frequent participant usually participate .lone;(5)The consumption level of leisure sports is low, and the consumption structure is unreasonable.Subjective factors that influence the 35-55 years old professional women’ s participation of leisure sport activity areas follows:(l)sports values, including the motive and sports emotion;(2)Traditional ethical view;(3)Consumption view of sports. There are more objective factors, including family income, leisure time, relevant groups, recreational sports playground, concern intensity to sports news or competitions and education level. Various objective factors restrict each other and influence middle-aged professional women’s leisure sports behavior together with subjective factors.
