Abstract


With the develop of China’s life insurance market,the number of life insurance business entities in Jilin Province is increasing rapidly and life insurance income growth faster. But the province’s life insurance income in the ranking of provinces in our country is still down on the list, the insurance density and insurance depth are low. In other words the development potential of our province’s life insurance market is still huge. How can we further develop the life insurance market size, increasing premium income, give full play to the role of life insurance protection is no doubt very important.This paper will establish a multiple linear regression model on basis of both macro and micro factors and then make relevant policy recommendations. In the macro level, we will analyze the economic development in our province, urbanization level of development, the expected inflation rate, level of education, demographic composition, dependency ratio and other factors impact the demand for life insurance, which for the life insurance regulatory authorities need to understand characteristics of our province’s life insurance and to develop more meaningful policies and regulations; The micro level will be a large number of real insurance policy for the sample data, analyze premium rates, the insured and the insured person’s sex, age, income, occupation, education and other factors on life insurance demand .This will provide the insurance company to provide valuable marketing strategy for reference.Main content of the article is divided into six parts. The first part is introduction, research background and significance and international research status quo; The second section describes the Life Insurance Needs Theory; The third section describes the development of the life insurance market in Jilin Province, including the basic conditions of life insurance and life insurance market, the main supply of the market, also the kinds of life insurance and their functions; The fourth part talks about the effect factors of our province’s life insurance and its transmission mechanism; The fifth part is the core of the article, using data on the establishment of relevant indicators and measurement model, that affect life insurance requirements of our province, give an empirical analysis; Section VI gives conclusions of the analysis according to the results of the model ,then tells projections of life insurance requirements and policy recommendations.
