Abstract


With the economic development, the improvement of living standard, and the conduction of Olympic Games in Beijing, great number of excellent P.E. majors are needed in China, which brings forward higher requirements for the cultivation of P.E. postgraduates. Now a sustainable development as a new concept is paid more and more attention. Then it is of great theoretical and practical significance to introduce this new concept into RE. postgraduate education.In this paper, we draw the following conclusions based on the analysis of the present RE. postgraduate education by referring to relevant literature and questionnaire.1.According to the survey on training objectives of postgraduates majoring in physical education, there are different opinions between tutors and graduate students: tutors pay attention to postgraduates’ personal development and competence of creation, while graduate students pay attention to the ability to do research and study.2.There are two ways to cultivate postgraduates majoring in physical education: government training and self-expense training. Both tutors and graduate students are not content with the three year program at the time being. Most would prefer to the two-year or two and a half years program.3.At present, they are just l-3second grade disciplines in the construction of professional program for postgraduates majoring physical education. It shows that there is a long way to go to improve postgraduate’ first grade discipline. 4.Concerning the graduate education in China, there are no certain rules forsetting required courses and elective courses. On one hand, tutors are satisfiedabout this situation. On the other hand, graduate students think there is still someroom between the setting and reality.5.For tutors for physical education majors, there is advantage in age structure,education level and academic titles. Their concepts for postgraduates trainingare academic and scientific styles.6.Tutors for physical education majors think that the present situation ofpostgraduate training is on average. And the problem of materials (books) isobvious because most materials are self-wrote ones or notes.7.The continuous development of physical education postgraduates training is arode for development, which aims at health, continuous and stable development.It stands on now and looks forward the future. The training itself should developcoordinately with politics, economy and education.8.This study combines systems of goals, contents, methods and evaluation ofpostgraduate education in physical education. At the same time, it build a kindof continuous develop model for the program. This study has significantmeaning and theoretical value for improving physical education postgraduateslifelong study, enhancing their ability to get used to the society, and exploringhigh-quality personnel in physical education
