Abstract


Finance is the core of the modern economy,its development is the most critical factor in a modern market.In the process of regional economic development, finance is also a direct reflection of the characteristics in regional economy, and has shown a marked regional differences as well. As the nature elements of economy,the optimization of industrial structure is an important part of economic development,so this article using regional financial and optimization of industrial structure as the research object,for they are each the core and the natural elements of regional economics,then taking Economic Zone on the Western Coast of the Taiwan Straits for example,use evidence-based, theoretical studies supplemented to anylysis the relationship between regional financial and optimization of industrial structure.Based on the empirical results obtained,this paper proposes the policy recommendations in this Economic Zone.This paper consists of five major parts: The first part is an introduction,to introduce the thesis research significance, research ideas and research methods, and defines the relevant concepts and summarizes the study’s literature review. The second part makes theoretical review basing on the regional financial and optimization of industrial structure, and make a theoretical analysis of the relationship between them. The third part analysis of the current situation of the financial development and industrial structure each other and their relationship in the Economic Zone,the current situation of the financial development describes its position in the national finance,financial institutions, financial asset structure and financing structure;the current situation of the indusrial structure firstly analysis of its overall structure and more specific analysis of the three industrial structure;the current situation of their relationship just analysis the affection of each other. The fourth part basing on the VAR model for the interception of Fujian Province from the data of 1995-2008 years, empirical analysis of the relationship of the financial development and optimization of industrial structure in the Economic Zone on the Western Coast of the Taiwan Straits,concluded that:there is long-term stable relationship between financial development and optimization of industrial structure in this Economic Zone and the financial development help optimize the industrial structure, but the optimization of industrial structure promote financial development greater. The last part is based on empirical results and under the guidance of the country,proposing the strategies to accelerate financial development to promote the optimization of industrial structure in the Economic Zone on the Western Coast of the Taiwan Straits.
