Abstract


Since the 1980s, China’s financial industry has got rapid development with financial reforms. Especially, after China’s entry into the WTO, foreign capital banks begin swarm into Chinese market. How to earn the competitive position in financial markets today? When financial products constantly tend to be homogeneous, differentiated services will become the preferred means of competition and the Business Process Reengineering will become premise and condition of differentiated services that commercial banks provide. Moreover, the differences in business processes reflect competitiveness of different banks.The thesis studies on PF bank’s operating process reengineering. Based on the analysis on the background and clearness on the overall objective of PF bank operation process reengineering, the thesis elaborates on the organizational structure and post settings changes involved in PF bank Business Process Reengineering, as well as the operating procedures, promotion and operation after operation processes reengineering, including operating system platform composition of process reengineering, the comparison of new process and the original process, operating mode of operation centers, and promoting and business operation of Business Process Reengineering. Analyze on Business Process Reengineering effect of PF bank from risk control, cost and efficiency, network marketing transformation and the service level. Explain the new issues of Business Process Reengineering, such as poor system stability, incomplete on-line business processing types, local customary practices affecting operational efficiency, unscientific assessment methods. On the basis of the study and analysis below, the thesis puts forward concrete measures for improvement, such as to find a method to improve efficiency and perfect special business, to develop scientific and rational assessment methods. It will give other banks some significance reference about business process reengineering.
