Abstract


This assay states the procedures of the development, designation andapplication of the school manuals which are based on the internet. And these manualsare good references to the further development and wider application of more andbetter school manuals .The earliest school manuals appealed in England and America in 1970s.And ithad very clear characteristics: schools deciding contents of the manuals;all teachersparticipating;stating a strategy of cooperation, research and sharing. This assayexplains the different development levels of the school manuals of Australia, America,France, Japan, Russia and Canada etc. And it also introduces some successful ways ofdeveloping the manuals in China. In China, the commonly-used way is that thenational Educational Ministry makes the standards of the required courses at schoolsand that it lets schools make the manuals of elective courses. Meanwhile, theEducational Ministry issues the Development Guide of School Manuals, ensuringsuitable supervision of schools. The assay analyses some famous teaching theories like humanism, and theirsupport to the development of the school manuals. And it also explains the newchanges of teaching and studying, which are caused by the digital teaching andstudying in schools. What’s more, the assay expounds the characters and advantagesof the manuals based on internet.In the end, it tells the development and designation of the schoolmanuals—Weifang Wood Craving Spring Festival Pictures. And it also tells theirpractical application in teaching. The manuals given in computer lessons are used toteach students the Chinese traditional culture. Therefore, it proves that thedevelopment of the school manuals will not only favor the development ofstudents’ personalities but also benefit teachers. And the school manuals are sure tomake great contributions to the development of schools.
