Abstract


Nowadays, all the countries in the world pay attention to thehuman’s development and Human’s quality comprehensive enhancement.With the universal acceptance of the idea of the education for all-arounddevelopment, more and more people look to the personality education.Our society requires the personality education and Education wants thecultivation of personality. To value the cultivation of the students’personality has been one inevitable choice when School faces the futuresociety.Although some considerations to the elementary and middle schoolstudents’ personality development in china dated back to 1980s, there area few writings about how to implement the personality education.Moreover there is no need to have the feasibility in the concrete teachingpractice. In view of the importance of the personality education and theinsufficiency of the language teaching connected with the recent researchsituation. The author, from the language discipline characteristics, followsthe idea of the "humanist" modern education, carries the excellenttradition of the language teaching in china, uses some methods such as:"literature-analysis and investigation-interview and so on, in theimplement of the language teaching, discusses the necessity, feasibilityand strategy of the personality education, and expects to provide thecertain theory basis and instruct the teaching practice. The whole articlemakes such elaborations in three parts.The first chapter chiefly elaborates the basic understanding of thelanguage personality education, analyses the necessity of making thepersonality education against the young people’s personality condition,and defines "personality”, “personality education”, and the “languagepersonality education”.The second chapter elaborates the necessity and advantage to makethe personality education and the construction of the new conception ofthe language teaching. Either the tendency of the development of theworld language teaching and the stipulation of the Chinese traditionallanguage teaching and the new class sign both strengthens the urgencyof the personality education. The author mainly elaborates thetransformation in the three aspects: from the knowledge skill to thespiritual world, from the teaching goal to the education, from the Utilityvalues to the aesthetical valuesThe third chapter discusses the strategy of implementation of thepersonality education in Chinese teaching from four aspects, which are asfollows:1. To cultivate the sound personality of the students in the readingteaching.2.To cultivate the sound personality of the students in the writingteaching.3.To make the personality education using the charm of the Chineseteachers’ personality.4.To perfect the personality by the students’ self-learning.
