Abstract


In the background of economic globalization and regional economy grouping, bancassurance is the product of the financial integration and the innovation in the cooperation between insurance and bank, and is a synthesis of channel innovation, product innovation, management strategy innovation and institutional innovation, which conforms to the world economic development tendency. Bancassurance business has reached a mature stage overseas, especially in the developed countries. Bancassurance business of China is in a period of rapid growth at an early stage and will embrace a strategic transformation and move toward a more standardized development period.Baesd on work practice, this thesis takes Tianjin Branch of Agricultural Bank of China as the object to carry out a case-analysis of development status, development environment, and development strategies of bancassurance business, which fills the "gaps" of specialized banks research in Tianjin. Taking the concept of bancassurance and the operation mode as the entry point, the thesis specifies research ideas and develops the technical line by comparative analysis between foreign and domestic study progresses. By the way of historical and present analysis, the author analyzes the development process, the present situation, the problems and the tendency on the bancassurance business of Tianjin Branch of Agricultural Bank of China. The author analyzes thoroughly aspects affecting innovation and the development in bancassurance business, which include economic environment, market environment, competition environment, supervision environment as well as SWOT of bank. Through analysis, the opportunities and challenges in business development of Tianjin Branch of Agricultural Bank of China, their advantages and broad prospects for development were identified. The paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions on management structure optimization, "three rural" service, product refinement, sales channel development, technical assistance, personnel training and other risk control measures. The author tries to provide the theoretical basis for reform, innovation and development of bancassurance business of Tianjin Branch of Agricultural Bank of China.
