Abstract


The essay has presented the retailing developed enviroment, current situation and existence questions in Hainan since our retailing had been opened up for serval years.. It is also discussed that rapid development of foreign-owned retailing enterprises in Hainan had affected positively and negatively local retailing development.Furthermore, the SWOT analytic tool is used to summarize the strength, weakness, oportunity and threat of Hainan retailing development based on the contrast of retailing development in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong. The essay has also analyzed the government and the retailers have made an effort to adopt the essential strategy and the mesasures to promote the Hainan retailing’s healthy development under the globalized enviroment.
