Abstract


Suzhou is the typical case and front region of China’s rural reform and development. Based on the past practice, it has been proven that every stride and leap of economic society of Suzhou can’t be separated from reform and innovation. At present, Suzhou has come into a new historical developmental period. In order to continue to keep the trend of scientific and harmonious development and complete the goals and tasks of the“Twelfth Five-year Plan”, the urban and rural development planned as a whole and the realization of urban and rural integration are the significant keys to realizing the new stride. As the provincial, even the national-scaled vanguard and pathfinder of the development of urban and rural integration, the practical exploration and theoretical conclusion undoubtedly function as the model and the reference for other regions. Having combed the theoretical and practical bases, the value analysis, the basic courses and features, and the route choices from every level, this essay has theoretically explored and analyzed the practice and concept of the development of Suzhou urban and rural integration.
