Abstract

With the development of the globalization, the diversification of environment is becoming gradually unpredictably.The competition among enterprises has become increasingly complex. In previous studies of the strategy of enterprise’s growth, the research is also mainly starting from the perspective of the enterprise itself or the social environment,but research about on the concept of eco-environmental system is few.This paper attempts to make a study on the enterprise growth from the perspective of the niche with the biology and ecology theory.It was hoped that this paper could help the business to find the way to meet the increasingly competitive environment, which was complex,diverse and dynamic.And it’s also necessary for the business to deal with the complex environmental.This paper was constituted by this parts:the first chapter introduced the signifi-cance of this research,and presented the purpose and the framework of this study.The second chapter described the concept of the organizational niche first and discussed the relationship between the niche and the competition briefly,it re-reviewed the previous firm growth theory with a simple classified.The next,in the third chapter it did a study on the objectively of enterprises and niche,and constucted the model of enterprise growth and enterprise niche factor.This paper argued that the business growth process actually could be seen as the process the business its internal resources integrated and corporate culture accumulated in its own niche,and the internal resources integrated and the corporate culture sediment may drive by enterprise its own ability. And in the fourth chapter,this paper thought that the enterp-rise niche factor was constituted by the technology niche factors, resources factors, demand factors and the corporate culture factor,these four factors ralated with each other.Finally,this paper made a brief description for the business niche factor.In the fifth chapter, this paper took some empirical examples to fit the research of this paper.First,it elaborated Tencent how to make its niche expansion by the expansion of the resource space,and gave a description on Haier,which was a living example for business niche leap,and its each of the cultural change had brought a new business niche space.Finally,it described the efforts that Lenovo made,and how to strengthen its niche. We expected that the result could be more scientific in the practical appli-cation,that’s why we did a study for this.As a new point of view,recently,there is a lot literature about business niche out of domestic and foreign.But it is still not ample,and the content is uncomplicated.This paper attempts to elaborate the following questions:(1)It explained the concept of enterprise niche and the related content,and described the relationship between niche and competition.(2)Enterprise-niche constituted by four factors:technical,resource, demand and corporate-culture.(3)It presented several ideas about corporate growth path from the perspective of the niche.(4)It got a research about the characteristics of the enterperse growth path under the influence of the niche,and focus on the analysis of the impact of the expansion of the resources and changes of culture on enterprise growth.All of these conbined the business niche environment,business growth strat-egy,and formed a system framework.It’s hoped that it could expand the research of the enterprise growth strategy.This paper intended to compensate the lack of the busi-ness growth strategy theory,and supply more content for the process of the business growth.On the other hand,we hoped that the results of this paper could provide some valuable achievements for the research of the enterprise external environment and the growth strategy.
