Abstract


BACKBROUND:Vertebral artery is the largest branching of the subclavian artery. It is the main blood supply of both Cervical Spinal and Cord Encrania,which is important to the recovery of cervical syndrome and injure.The Anatomic parameter and the adjacent relationship determine its physiological function, to conduct a scientific investigation into the Anatomic parameter and the adjacent relationship seems important. Now there are 3 main clinical ways to inspect and measure Vertebral artery: DSA,CTA, MRA.Arteriography (AG) is considered to be a gold standard and becomes more and more important with the development of DSA and interventional radiology through it has toxic side effect、radiation and surgical trauma .CTA: computer tomography Angiography,a new way to measure VA is more and more generally used in clinical work. But we can’t refrain from toxic side effect and radiation either. DSA leads us to a safe way in the Vertebral artery detection with neither of shortcomings discussed above. Without toxic side effect, without radiation, without surgical trauma ,MRA may have a bright future.Difference and argument can be always heard in our clinical imaging detection. Sample difference, detection approach,personal factor,etc,each of them will lead us to a wrong conslusion and puzzl us. contradistinction between a fixed body and a intravital person may be little help since sample difference. But the study of the fixed body can be no more help because of the difference between a fixed man and a alive man that everyone can see. We can’t detect a person with all of the 3 methods :DSA、CTA、MRA in most conditions.AIM: To analyse the accuracy,the sensitivity and the safety of three detection methods:DSA CTA MRA, and try to find out the most valuable photographic way in clinical application.METHODS: We have measured the diameter ,using the three photographic methods, of every sample which being filled under the pressure equal to human ABP(arterial blood pressure).then analysis the data we got.Fresh sample of VA is similar to theVA in vivo in the biomechanic characters.So at the Human ABP,the filling conditions of the sample we collected should approch to the VA
