Abstract

“Information”has become a crucial resource of medical treatment in evacuation support.It is a unique feature of the information-oriented war which differs from the mechanization-oriented one’s. Above all, the diagnosis of war wounds is an important part of these information, applying it effectively , we can advance the quality of medical treatment, reduce amount of the death under shield, decrease the rate of death and disability due to the wound on battle.In the process of medical evacuation,the medical treatment trends to become“the definitive treatment”,for the progress of technique and the improvement of organization in medical treatment in echelons.The diagnosis of war wounds renews continuously, meanwhile the elements of the diagnosis become more and more detailed .So, it not only fulfills the demands of treatment under the condition of battle, but also does it reach the demands of treatment in definitive organization. By now,we have lacked of systematical standards for such a diagnosis. The existing standards which we apply often cause the irregular phenomena in the process of sorting ,evacuation and treatment.International Classification of Diseases (ICD) which has developed for over 100 years is the authoritative standard about the statistical sorting of diseases, injury and death .There has already been codes of trauma in ICD,but these sorted codes can’t adapt to the statistical sorted analysis of war wounds because of the war wounds unique characters which are differ from general trauma. So,it’s necessary to improve the standards of diagnosis which specialize for war trauma and optimize the methods of coding which can meet the needs of statistical analysis more better ,especially meet the needs of informational of wartime health service.Our task is instructed by the idea of systematical analysis, we have studied the conception of war wounds,the standards of sorting and diagnosis of war wounds by various methods,such as consultation,investigation and research.Meanwhile,we suggest the elements which constitute the diagnosis of war wounds ,define the standards of the diagnosis and code the principal war wounds according to the national standard(GB/T7027-2002)“the basic principles and methods of information sorting and coding.
