Abstract


Modern supply chain management is an important theory in the strategic development of an enterprise, which holds emphasis on the good cooperation between it and its suppliers as well as in win-win. Supplier management plays a key role in SCM. There is almost no chance for an enterprise to get involved in today’s strong competition.It has become a major concern of important study in logistics management how does an enterprise get out of its own trap to seek great suppliers and to build a good relationship with them and to finally improve itself with the help of SCM. Some related theories are stated with the concepts of supply chain management and suppliers management, followed by an analysis of the evaluation and selection process, including its importance in the practice of businesses.After the analysis of some problems lying in suppliers management and their causes in Corporate L, the further improved ways and means are then covered. Through the application of AHP in the evaluation and selection of suppliers, a guiding ideology of a strategic partners is proposed, operating procedures standardized and an effective communication mechanism established.
