Abstract


Scientific management and technology investment have been implemented in every fields from economical management to market operation since the reform and open-up, which has enhanced management efficiency greatly. However, most fields of RMB-supply operates in a traditional pattern. More and more attention are paid to the management of RMB supply chain both by the academia at home and abroad and currency-issuing authority. The management of RMB currency supply chain can not only enrich its theoretical research but also reduce RMB distribution cost and enhance RMB supply-efficiency.This dissertation firstly introduces some theories about supply chain management, currency supply and demand. There is also some introduction about current situation and innovation of currency supply chain management in China and abroad. Secondly, description and analysis of current situation of RMB currency supply chain are made from many aspects, such as currency-issuing system, issuing warehouse distribution, inventory control and the characteristics of currency supply. What’s more, problems are also noted. Qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis are combined to elaborate the objectives and principles of RMB currency supply chain management. Researches are made on the factors which influence currency supply and demand in Fujian Province on the basis of VAR model. Using site selection decision-making of linear programming to choose the best address of issuing warehouse. ABC inventory classification management method, least square linear regression and period order model are applied to the analysis of inventory control in People’s Bank of Fujian Province. Thirdly, improvement plan of RMB currency supply management is stated on the basis of the theory supply chain management, and the evaluation system of supply chain is built on the basis of Balanced Scorecard theory. Lastly, the author states that the enforcement of optimizing RMB supply chain management not only needs to improve its operation pattern, but also needs more communication and cooperation between People’s Bank and commercial banks.This dissertation applies supply chain management theory to the management of RMB issuing, which optimizing RMB currency supply chain management and putting forward specific measures and performance appraisal. This paper also provide some meaningful and practicable conclusion and experience for RMB issuing changes from traditional control pattern to modern supply chain management pattern.
